LEEM/LSS Products now manufactures high quality Water Intake Screens, made with sturdy, clog-resistant Wedge-Flow, custom designed and engineered to your specific application. Our intake screens are made with Wedge-Flow™, LEEM/LSS' own brand of industrial grade wedge-wire. Wedge-Flow is specially constructed to resist clogging, while maximizing open area and ensuring required particle retention through precise slot sizes. Our screens are designed to provide uniform low velocity throughout the entire screen surface, which all but eliminates screen blockage and plugging. By specifying a low through-slot velocity, leaves, algae, and aquatic life continue on their way, without being drawn into your process stream or covering-up the outer surface of the intake screen. LEEM/LSS's Intake Screens can be manufactured with a variety of stainless steels and other alloys depending on the working environment. Other options include an Air Sparging System which forces accumulated debris away from the screen and a Chemical Feed Line that can add whatever biofouling chemicals you may require into the intake stream.
